Elbros Precast specializes in the design and manufacture of precast pre-stressed components utilized in the local construction industry, from simple domestic application to complex multi-storey structures.
About Precast Concrete
Precast elements produced consist mainly of two types:
– Pre-stressed slab units which form part of a composite roofing system
– Pre-stressed concrete beams used to complement the roofing slabs
The use of precast elements gives the benefit of assisting in the completion of any project within a shorter time frame, making any project more environmentally friendly and economically efficient.
The precast factory is capable of producing 300m2 of pre-stressed slabs daily and 120m length of prestressed beams on a 5-day cycle.
Elbros Precast produces precast products such as hollow concrete blocks for its own use – 4,800 pcs of 230mm thick hollow concrete blocks and 6,000 pcs of 175mm thick hollow concrete blocks every 2 days
Other custom-made products such as staircase flights, culverts, kerbs and tailor-made precast elements are also produced by Elbros Precast.
